At Waterbird Gypsy Cobs, our passion is preserving and promoting the beauty, temperament, and heritage of the Traditional Irish Cob. What began as a love for horses has grown into a dedicated breeding program, built on carefully selected bloodlines and a commitment to producing true-to-type, quality horses.

 

We are proud to stand behind every foal we breed. Each horse is raised with care, respect, and plenty of hands-on attention, ensuring they grow into confident, well-mannered partners for their future families.

 

Our focus is on:

• Quality bloodlines – with fully imported mares and stallions chosen for their conformation, type, and character.

• Temperament – because an Irish Cob should be as kind as it is beautiful.

• Soundness & versatility – producing horses who are strong, correct, and capable, whether in the show ring, under saddle, or as lifelong companions.

Located in Calliope QLD on our 3rd generation farm, every horse on our property is part of our family.
